Is she molting? My birds are eating a LOT less now they're molting. I thought they'd need more, to grow the feathers. They aren't as active as they have been, either.

Can you check for worms or mites?
Hi Sally

I don't think she's molting. I will catch her tomorrow and bring her in to give her a thorough examination. And keep her inside so I can monitor her.

I'll share what I discover, if anything, tomorrow. Last time I examined her, I found nothing outwardly wrong.

Thank you! 💗

Suggestions: fishmox 1/3 capsule mixed in with canned corn. Each day. Dakota was bad but now she’s much better. Preening again and is starting to be herself.
Speckled suspects can difficult to diagnose. Make sure she’s drinking. Dehydration isn’t good
Thank you Alex! I will be bringing her in tomorrow so I can better monitor her. I just shared with Bob that I also have Baytril. Which I'd forgotten about.

I'm so glad Dakota is doing better! 💗

Hi Rural mouse 😁. Health issues are ongoing. Getting a skin cancer removed tomorrow and my noggin scanned Friday in a attempt to diagnose my tremors. Lety and I spent a few hours making sure everyone is cozy with our first cold front blowing in this evening. Up to 17 pups now and 2 kitties.
When you have some R&R through all that, we'd love pics of the critters, and your cozy set up for the birds. Considering you deal with the heat so much, I'm curious what you've done for the cold there.

:hugs :hugs :hugsmay both procedures go smoothly, clearly, and be productive.

That’s a lot going on. Hope everything goes well. I had a period a year or two ago when I kept needing skin cancers removed from my face. Seems OK at the moment.
