Another chilly morning I don’t have a fluffy butt, so how about a fluffy sleepy pile of chickies

I think Whiskers may become more assertive about them not sleeping with her sleeping.

Your Silkies seem to favor the cardboard box. Put up a couple more for your chicklets to discover maybe?

I did and they won’t use them! For some reason this box is the chosen one hahaha.

The baby silkies can use the crate they have been in all along, I’ll make Whiskers sleep on the ledge. I might toss her back into the Hen House at night if she won’t play nice in the Winter Room.

I'm not sure where I could move it where it would still reach the extension cord. Might just have to add ANOTHER small board to the coop entrance as a lip to keep them from kicking out so much bedding

Same problem here. They keep kicking their bedding outside the coop.

I figured your waterer was heated & had a cord limitation. The lip idea may help if it doesn't hinder entrance/exit. We all do what we can

Silkies are notorious pile-up sleepers if given the chance
