you just did your 2000th post camping.
You have to take them ? I have people come to my house for anything not just chickens. LOL Im lazy like that. gas is $1.94 here though. shouldnt complain.
I need to mow the yard and afraid i will hurt myself. It might be the last time for the yr. I like to leave it long for winter. its better for it.

:celebrate :celebrate :celebrate

Glad it was something important and memorable. :lau

I'm a bleeding heart, granny. I know what it's like to do without something that you love because of silly things like "money" or "time." So I end up delivering chickens a lot of times. This lady has wanted sussex pullets since early spring, but they HAD to be pullets. No eggs, no straight run chicks. She's got some small grand kids and had a bad experience with a rooster. She's three hours from me and that was too far for her to drive. But on this trip I'm taking I was passing literally a few miles from her house. (And then my plans changed and I left way later than originally intended and now I'm backtracking but that's besides the point.) And I'm not getting NEARLY enough money for them because it was two months ago when I quoted the price

Granny you can clean the hair off microfiber furniture with a microfiber cloth. Get for dusting too if the urge ever hits you. I avoid that urge myself. But it does get kinda embarrassing when someone changes the year that was already written in the dust. Lol

I don't have grass. Got rid of it years ago. All paths flowers and garden. Chickens and ducks have the run of privacy fenced back and whole garden. They enjoyed grapes and raspberries this year and the asparagus and all the tomatoes and tomatillos.

If I am selling something to a stranger I usually meet them at the Walmart parking lot. You just don't know anymore.

Just left you a message granny, LOL been busy this morning. I was thinking the same in doing my grass. It's still a little wet yet from the dew on it so maybe in a couple of hours it will get done. Weather going to be rubbish this week coming so probably won't get chance again for a while. My mower has broken twice this summer and had to have emergency repairs. I love it and don't want a new one so I'm hoping it does not pack up again.

Camping, you sound just like me with the delivering of birds, I've done it a few times and with the time and delivered I've ended up not making a lot. My birds were supposed to pay for themselves but right now I've not even broken even.

I thought we were the only ones like that. I am a sucker for a sad story or tale (animal foster care remember). We DJ and do all kinds of fundraisers for free.

One year a couple days before Christmas we bought furniture from some people who needed money (and let me tell you that was the destitute leading the broke). They also had a kid with problems and no Chistmas presents. We bought a China cabinet and agreed to get it after Christmas because it was still full of dishes and we didn't want to wreck their holiday with a big empty hole in the dining room. We felt sorry and bought presents for the kid and delivered them. When we went to get the cabinet they had moved! DH has stupid on his forehead too. Lol

Yeah I know my reward is in heaven not on earth. It's pointed out to me all the time. Lol

Well I just got up a while ago to potty. I checked in here for a minute (right) and I'm still here. I'm going back to sleep for a bit more. Good morning and good nap. :)

Feeding them eggs with wormer residue in them lengthens the time that residue continues to be in the eggs.

Low dose of it makes the worms more resistant and needing stronger poison the next time.

X2 on both points. That said, depending on your personal choice many consume eggs after worming an have no issues. At worst you may be a person who would have a reaction to the particular chemical you have dosed or risk building resistance in any parasites you have as the dose that"may" pass into the eggs would be extremely low for a human body. I would not advocate passing these eggs to other by sale or trade, but you can certainly choose to take the *risk* for yourself.
