Its ok, i love being worshipped!

It's the only way to live. I know my house is lacking in the worship department, so I try to pass it out as often as I see an opening.

So happy to see everyone's new babies and updates.
I think I'm losing my incubator/hatcher . It's not holding humidity appropriately anymore. Both times I woke up last night to check bators the humidity had dropped by 13-15%.

I'm super disappointed because this has been my best unit for hatching so far. Use to be 90% hatch rate on shipped eggs, but the last two batches have been lost to humidity issues. So, now, I have until the 9th to convince my husband we need a better hatching unit.

Keep posting those babies. My nerves are shot, I need the doses of fluff. Going to hang out in the brooder with the two that survived the hatcher from hell.

@BroodyHuman
I'm sorry about your loss, I hope you can convince your hubs you need a new unit. What are you starting in the 9th?

Thanks for the positive vibes, queen. We have Malays going into lockdown on the 9th. So far, out of a shipped 7, we have 3 with stabilized Air cells and 1 developing with a portion of air cell still unstable.

Are you sure its not a sensor or meter whacking out? Or a leak in the pan or cracked lid, etc? I've heard of heaters and temp related things going bad, but how could the humidity change that drastically?

After doing some power reading this am, I think it has something to do with our weather change here. Something that I didn't take into account.

Our hatcher usually stays stable on my kitchen counter, but the last two hatches this week have been mucked by a gradual fall over a two to three hour period at night. It's our a.c. running over - time. We had a coolish period for a week or two where our house stabilized internally and over the past few days we've been back in the 80's.

Lesson learned. Something so simple forgotten/not thought of. Not much of a financial loss, but the guilt makes me sick.
