When I added the last chick the the group this morning they went crazy running everywhere but they have settled in. You’d have thought I put a rat in there they way they carried on.

Rebuilt a rabbit cage for a brooder this time. Will need a bigger door but that can wait.

it’s called hatchabatch...i found it from another thread on here. it gives daily development updates, candling reminders etc. It also helps with minor miscalculations (as i had originally calculated lockdown later than the app)

Keep in mind, that app starts on day 1 instead of waiting 24 hours, so either don’t start it until the next day, or adjust for it. It’ll make you a day off.

ahhhhhh I will not see peeps for about 3 or 4 days yet the silky coop is there brooder moved the last three marans from there to my spare coop till they are big enough to go in the main coop leaving the silky coop with just the 4 girls

Rabbit cages are all full! I like to put them in a plastic bin brooder for a few days so i can keep a close eye on them. In my bathroom....

Mine get 24 hours inside. Then out to the barn. Far to feathery.
