Thank you all for the suggestions, I appreciate all the help and I wish the outcome could have been different. I havent yet decided on a method but I do like the ether meathod. I’ll see if u have the supplies to do it, any more suggestions are welcome. Bless you all for your help

I really hate to sound morbid --and if you can't do it I totally understand-- but you may want to look her over better once she is gone. See if you can figure out what was outside her body and if there was an injury of some sort. At least rule out that it was something that could injure your other ducks.

Ive read thru this thread, Im so sorry for you and your duck. I agree with checking over the area after she's gone to see if you can find anymore clues.

With a prolapse the exposed red tissue is attractive for her flock mates to peck and rip. It can cause them to become focused and relentless about going after it. It can be savage it’s just what they do. I’m so sorry for her. If you think it all the way thru... she’ll have a reoccurring problem every time she lays an egg even if she survives all this trauma.
Show mercy.
Give her loving care to find peace. The kindest thing IMO is to humanly euthanize her. I’m so sorry
