HELP! I assisted a duckling before internal pipping!

Even though it didn't internally pip it would have started breathing and moving as soon as it came in contact with the outside air.

It can take a while before it starts to smell. the body in the picture looks pretty stiff, especially looking at the feet. The body may remain soft if it is wet.

Did you have a separate calibrated thermometer/hygrometer? It's possible your readings were off which could have harmed your babies.

Blood coming out of the mouth is not normal, and it can happen when already dead.
So it is dead? Even if it is not hardened and is still soft?

What should I do with the other eggs? Will they eventually do internally pipping or should I open them now?

It is dead. I'm very sorry. :hugs

I don't think your other eggs are alive. Some seem a bit behind in development. I'm not seeing active veins or other signs of life in any of them.

Well...
Those are all the eggs I have.
Did you have a separate calibrated thermometer or hygrometer in the incubator? The built in ones are almost always off and can really mess with your hatch. If your humidity was too high during lockdown your ducklings could have drowned in the shell. Or if it was too low, they couldn't internally pip and died. There are other reasons as well so it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly what happened.

I bought this eggs online. I orderd 5 and got one extra as a gift, and at the end none of them hatched...
I guess I will only have chickens for now.

Thank you for your help.

Shipping is very hard on the eggs and most people don't get good results. I've had many shipped eggs make it to lockdown but not hatch.

Also, :welcome Sorry that it was under sad circumstances but we're glad to have you here with us.
