#1- Daisy
When she was little, she had a little white dot which meant female, but I’m still going to check. She is very sweet and curious.

She/he used to be unfriendly but now they’re friendly and calm. She always gives me funny looks! She’s also the biggest chick.

I’ve had a gut feeling since he was born that his lil guy was a roo. He/she always gives me the stink eye! Also very skittish.

He/she is the second biggest and very skittish. I’ve also seen him get in lots of fights with the others.

Also forgot to mention, is it ok to move them into the coop at 6wks? The lowest temp is 40 some nights in the next few weeks

I’ve moved all mine into the coop around 6 weeks, yours look pretty well feathered, so I don’t see why not!

I’m no expert but I agree 4 and 5 look like males. Also, if I remember correctly #1 might also be male. A barred hen with a non barred rooster should make sex linked chicks that have barred sons only. But I know Easter eggers are so mixed, that maybe it doesn’t apply?

All very cute chicks!

I just did some research and I didn’t see anything applying to EE’s. However, I think when Barred Rock hens are crossed with certain breeds of roosters that their female offspring will have no dot on their head and the males will. Since I didn’t find anything on EE’s, I’m going to keep an eye out for rooster signs. Thanks for letting me know about that, I never knew!

I think this is true. I had a barred rock roo with a brahma hen. Both had spots on on their head and one ended up being a roo and the other is a hen. They both inherited barred rock coloring. Easter eggers are amerucauna or aracauana mixed with other breeds so I don't think the spot applies there either.
