Help with Cockerel having diarrhea.

I have a golden laced Wyandotte cock who is nearly 20 weeks old and he has been living with the older hens along with 2 young hens his age for about 8 weeks now. He currently is eating a half chick starter and half hen layer food. And ever since he has been living with them, he constantly has diahrrea and I don't understand why. The only reason I am still putting chick starter in with their food is to finish up what's left in the bag. Either way I don't believe it's the chick starter anyway. Any ideas?

My first guess would be he has picked up a new to him strain of coccidia. I would try some Corid for coccidiosis.

What are the symptoms of that besides diarreah because besides that, he looks really healthy mating the other hens.

He hasn't had any of that. Just watery diarreah.

High protein can cause it to. But I would certainly start administering Corid to the whole flock. If it is coccidiosis, it needs to be treated ASAP.

The watery poo is enough of a symptom for me to go ahead and treat for it. When it gets to the point where you start seeing blood it's almost too late.

Really? Even if there's no pale comb, no weakness, etc...

Sure it could still be coccidiosis.
Why don't you collect some fresh poop and have a vet test it for both worms and coccidia.
