When my fella first suggested getting chickens in our backyard, I wasn't too sure about the work and maintenance involved and how much we would connect with them.
Boy was I wrong to even question it!
We've been keeping bantams now since July 2016 and they are the loves of my life!
We've had quite a few since we started but we currently have 8. All girlies, 6 polish (two cuckoo - Daphne and Connie, one white - Alice, one gold lace - Honey, one all black - Velma and one with a white crest - Domino), a really sweet black silkie called Sylvie, and our newest youngest girl Stella who is a 4 month old Silver Sussex and just started laying!
