The broken windows are all covered and snow up to you hips now. My May hens are laying eggs like crazy, I get a doz a day, if my July hens start to lay, I may not know because the eggs would all blend in. Below is 6 days worth...

@gimmie birdies your eggs are simply marvelous. I want maran eggs so badly, but I only hen passed before laying age.

I'll have to go out and get some pics for you all. I'm down to 7 of my 15 rare breed eggs, but the ones I have left are super sweet. 4 of the 7 are roosters. Add in my 2 mutts from my flock from July and I have five roos and four hens.

Wow my April babies stopped besides one and one other started up again. My July haven't started.

They are beautiful! Im gonna get a salmon faverolle next year,hoping she will be my show bird.

I love my SF's. One is lighter and one is darker..

Wow!!! I got an even dozen this week. Guess not bad with only 2 laying though. And one is my Sicilian buttercup and before she stopped I would get 2 maybe 3 on a good week from her. She stopped the beginning of Nov and started back up this week and laid 6 eggs this week!

My Buttercup was inspecting the nestbox today She’s from April (my salmon Faverolles I got the same day just laid this week) and has looked ready for monthssssss. I doubt my July chick is even close lol

Ugh on the wait yours made you do!!!! Mine are mid April and my SF started mid Sept, but stopped mid Oct. And my buttercups started end of Sept and beg of Oct. But then one went broody so stopped the beg of Nov (she is a mean mean broody), the other stopped the beg of Nov too. Well think I have them right that it was 2 laying. Lol.

But I am still waiting on my CCL to start and I am dying to see her eggs

Not sure what is better... Starting earlier and teasing you for a month then stopping. Or having to wait longer. Lol

I had so many eggs because the lady who normally buys them is on vaca. I did sell some to a neighbor, to lighten our load.
