Good morning....
Hope your Duck is doing better.....Could it be possible the swelling is from broken toes?....If so, it will take weeks for them to heal....
All you can do is keep on doing what you have been and hope for a speedy recovery....:frow

Here is from this morning before his soak. We did not reapply the blu-kote. He seemed to like the cold water soak.

Yes his middle toe about an inch or so from the top did break.. I did try to straighten it and splint it but he hated that so I figured if I could just help his other injuries more

Absolutely! And again thank you everyone for the advice! The ducks went crazy and We thought we had another turtle attack last night but the other three are ok. Cannot wait until July 1st and some turtle soup!

Update.. he's found a way to take his bandages off .. foot is still swollen but he is still able to stand and semi-walk with a limp. The wounds on top of the foot look like they have just about healed pretty well.. toe is still broken :(. The bottom of the foot was he worst injury and that looks to be still trying to heal.. he's continuing his antibiotics we had left over and takes them no problem. He brought back some earthworms from a fishing trip we just had and if he sees you getting those out of the fridge he will stand. Hasn't really been eating he starter/chick food they used to eat when they were babies.

I think it looks pretty darn good, considering the circumstances! If the broken toe is still getting any circulation out at the tip, i would expect it to be ok, just crooked. But I'm no vet. just hoping, i guess.
You are definitely doing all you can, so however it goes, you should be proud of all you've tried.
