Hey I currently have a broody muscovy duck laying on almost 20 eggs. I have to leave town for a few days on July 12th so I decided to candle a few of her eggs. Any idea when these will hatch? I want to make sure I am here when they hatch so I can move her and any babies into a secure coop with plenty of food and water. I would rather not move her until after they hatch since I would hate to stress her or anything after this long (also don’t want her to abandon them).

I have looked for a candling chart but I know muscovys take longer than the average duck so I am not finding anything specifically for muscovys.

If you have any idea what day these are or when they will hatch please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Based off of the air pocket and yolk still needing to be absorbed, this looks like it has about 1-1.5 weeks left until hatch.

I just candled one yesterday and it was internally pipped. Does this mean hatch will be with 72 hours?
