The worst part is that i have to go out of town tomorrow afternoon for a long weekend checking on my stepmother in another state. So my teen is managing the hatch. I am confident in her skills and judgment, but I hate missing the action

Put 11 eggs in the incubator, 2 we're quiters early on and one yolker, the other 8 all hatched, 7 hatched on day 21 and the last hatched early day 22

I wanna hop on board! I put 8 eggs in the incubator today. They are due to hatch on Halloween. If any hatch, I will have to name one Candy Corn . 7 Of them are American Game Bantam x Pit Game Bantam. 1 Of them is Buff Orpington x Cornish X.

ETA: Today is day 14 here, candling day! Well, "official" sanctioned candling where I take them out and mark them. Because let's be honest, pretty much every day is candling day if slipping the candler under the lid and peeking counts.

I'm sitting on my hands trying to wait until nighttime when I know I'll have the best view.
