Yuck... can't imagine what it must be like living somewhere it doesn't go at least into the 50s at night in summer. I'd die.

It was sooo weird. They didn't hit the 80's until the afternoon and you could be outside w/o feeling like you were going to die. No humidity at all. I can see why people want to go there. We went to San Diego and stopped at a beach and the water was cold, not cool. Even the surfers were wearing wet suits. Not at all what I'd expected for August in CA.
