Official Squatch Watchers

We crack and slam them on to the ground so that they're shattered. It doesn't look like an egg anymore. We'll probably go back to boiling them first, but we got into the habit since the eggs were already frozen and cracked, so they broke apart like boiled eggs.
Aww thanks appreciate it

Sweet dreams everyone :hugs

Good morning everyone! I'm getting ready to go to another chiropractor appointment. I slept really well last night (though I wish it could have continued for a few more hours). I only remember the Milk Drinker waking up once, but he had to have woken twice because I don't remember bringing him into bed with us, but I do remember feeding him the second time and he was already in bed with us. FYI, he starts his nights in his crib which is up against my side of the bed. After his first feeding he lies down between DH and me.

Do y'all see this
So cute. My chicks did that too.
Me three!

Still getting 4 - 6 eggs per week here, only cuz Lizbeth is molting. Gurtrude is laying, but finally contemplating a molt. So, currently have 50% of my birds producing. :plbb

One positive of indoor chickens, the other positive, don't have to worry about temps during the winter unless power goes out. Summer is a little more challenging, but we make it work. Happy, healthy birds, yummy eggs as a bonus. :celebrate
Indoor chooks! How neat. I used to have an inside duck.
Doesn't that teach them to eat eggs?
Nope.

Good morning squatch Watchers!
It rained like no tomorrow over night! Glad it wasn't more snow. This town doesn't know how to handle it. I've never lived in a place where the kids loose a week of school and even the grocery stores and WALMART shuts down for days over less than 4 inches.
