No major developments except that Apryl29 had a young pullet diagnosed with cancer. She did the right thing and had her put to sleep, but her little human is pretty upset.

Other than that it has mainly been chit chat the last couple days. Recent topics include:

- How to treat a slow crop (cause 21 hens has a bird in difficulty)
- Do you eat eggs while treating with Corid? (Apryl asked. Varying opinions in response)
- How much fat is normal on a laying hen?
- Determining sex of cats (Smuvers newest family member is NOT a girl)
- Do you let your cats and dogs associate with your poultry?

Also

-Rae’s plans for the new chicks and guineas she ordered
-Misty has folks working on repairs to her water system
-Cappy might be getting sick :(
- MD is sick
-Anansi met with a new doctor (who is hopefully good!)

And pitbullmama's mama passed away. But I can't remember if that was before of after you left.
 
My cat was so scared of the chicks it gave her diarrhea. I'm talking straight out of the egg chicks. I think they are safe from my particular cat. The neighbors cat comes down to catch chipmunks and get hair snatched out pretty much everyday. She's either a dumb cat or my chipmunks taste divine. ;)

My parents have a little poodle that has never gone after the chickens or anything. He has wandered in that direction, but has never been near them enough to know what he's like w/ them. I think they're taller than him though, so he'd probably be afraid of them... except he DID chase after a giant deer once (did I mention he's stupid?).
