That marineland all in one remedy treats everything but you absolutely cannot miss a dose. I used it when my goldfish had a string of bad medical luck.
One teaspoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons of water and ich medication are needed. Might need a different med for fin rot. Either of those maladies can kill fish.

She's 12 so she should be old enough for anything you'd try on an adult.
I'll try the alcohol when I go home for lunch and see if that helps. I hate keeping her home from school for something so stupid. I gave her nyquil last night and she was sleeping when I left for work. I'm hoping she sleeps it off. This weekend she was nauseous, threw up in her mouth several times, and had diarrhea. It's probably a virus and there's nothing I can do, but she keeps missing sooo much school. Her temp has been normal or just up a degree or so. I'm sure other kids are missing a lot, but it keeps putting her so far behind.
Thanks @Chickassan , but we don't have any smokers nearby & I'm not sure I'd invite them to blow in my child's ear even if we did.

You could borrow a smoker or pick up the habit for 5 seconds lol! It actually has some medical pretense, nicotine shrinks capillaries thus reducing pressure and pain.;)

I have used sweet oil. It really is called sweet oil.

A few drops in the ear has helped me.

I am wondering if her swollen nodes are putting pressure on the drainage canal.

OK so since I brought up the medical difficulties I am having I am willing to elaborate.

No feeling sorry for me! I am a tough old bird.

I have mild dwarfism. Not visible on the outside unless someone is really well versed in the symptoms. I am of normal height. But then my dad was 6'6".
My organs are undersized, my upper palate and ear drums as well. My fingers and toes are shorter then regular folk.
The internals is the issue. Kidneys that are small cause issues.

90% of the time I feel OK. I don't consider it a handicap or disability or even think much about it. I do know I will always have things that work differently.

Its one of the reasons my kids have decided not to have children.

I will go and get checked out. Probably nothing they can do anything about. Taters even with the genetic wonders my family members live long lives. Ya'll are stuck with me. :p

Interesting, I would go see someone, you never know what might be the problem, esp if it's been an ongoing issue.. If it was going to go away on it's own it would have by now. Hopefully it's a simple fix, like vitamins or something.

I am going to see a doctor.
Most of the time they want to run tests on totally unrelated things. It gets tiresome trying to get them to focus on the actual issues.

Completely unrelated......

The puppy is eating better. She is sssoooooo picky.
I have switched her to Beneful. I still have to wet it for her.
