Official Squatch Watchers

Today's haul was all 3 of my Swedish Flowers. (One of whom seems to be having trouble. Bloody eggs.) My Blond mixed breed girl, a leghorn, Lilla girl my Svart Cochin and that blue beauty is the first of the year for my Wheaten Americauna. (Pretty sure the bigger girl)

Just found out deer are terrifying! I'm putting everyone to bed and the rooster starts alarming, i don't see anything so im like "go to bed re re". Then i hear all these leaves and ruckus and see deer, tater piles of deer jumping the fence. The chickens go towards the deer the deer come towards the chickens...im about to tater my pants. Rooster finally got some sense and stopped, thank goodness because these were big deer. I cooped everyone tonight with a herd of deer watching me lol! I shouldn't have complained about stray cats i guess.:lau

You should be here where we have bears! Yesterday there were 5 large wild turkeys in the yard, about 50 feet from the cabin! Never know what you will see out there!

Oh we have bears, I've never seen one but I've definitely smelled one. Turkeys are pretty much everyday, i call them gobble crows since they're taking over the crows clean up jobs. I knew we had deer, I've seen them on the security cameras, I've just never had to see the deer much less stand outside with them and ward them off. Deer are supposed to be skittish and shy.:lau
