Official Squatch Watchers

Of course I'm nervous of bears lol! I'm nervous of any critter big enough to look me straight in the face. That's what nipped my emu fantasy in the bud.;)
Oh well i don't find deer scary. You are not nervous of the bears?
I have to go shut up the guinea coop and pop doors. Back in a bit.

Well I'm too young to pay taxes, so I can sell birds just fine.
I'm actually trying to find a business partner to buy a bunch of rare birds, raise them until they're individually sellable(2 mos), and then sell them. Just an idea the would be really cool and was suggested by my mom.
.

ummmmm No, not really.... But I won't tell if you don't:lau:lau I was 16 when I filed my first return. I had to file a return for my kids when they were 9 & 10. But what the IRS doesn't know won't hurt them.:D

:frowGood morning/night @Anansi :hugs
I hope you find something soon.

And @rjohns39 , :frow,
Hey buddy how is that transition going to your new job?
The doing isn't the problem with new jobs, it's the settling in that's uncomfortable.
I bet your wife misses you like crazy.

I'm doing better but very tired when I get home. This is more physical than mental... Hmmmm I'm thinking I''m ready to go back to the mental exhaustion. It Paid better.

Yeah, any huge smoke clouds mean I found the kitchen.

Ruby, It's easy to learn to cook. I was proficient by age 7.... Yet I still learn every day. My son was cooking by the same age, my daughter didn't learn until after she was married. She didn't like the kitchen. One of my most fun projects was teaching my granddaughters to make homemade marshmallows when they were 4 & 5. Since we had just finished making hot cocoa, we made small marshmallows.

I need a hug

:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs

Just found out deer are terrifying! I'm putting everyone to bed and the rooster starts alarming, i don't see anything so im like "go to bed re re". Then i hear all these leaves and ruckus and see deer, tater piles of deer jumping the fence. The chickens go towards the deer the deer come towards the chickens...im about to tater my pants. Rooster finally got some sense and stopped, thank goodness because these were big deer. I cooped everyone tonight with a herd of deer watching me lol! I shouldn't have complained about stray cats i guess.:lau

My fawns think it's cool to jump on the chicken tractor roofs @ 4:00 AM.:th

Hi all:frow I think I'm going to go veg in front of the TV. Maybe greet some new folks, but then veg. I'm tired.

There's a great thread out here on bear prevention. I loved it.;)

Let that boy out of jail!!

So stinking cute.
He hasn't figured out how to climb yet?

They don't call him Spiderbaby for nothing!

Oppsies!!!!

LOL
Misty calls him Spider baby because he got out of his last enclosure. He hasn't figured out how to get out of this "baby jail" system yet. I let him out a good deal, but when I can't watch him, in the containment he goes. Oh, he has figured out how to get out of his crib. I have it pushed up against my side of the bed so I can pick him up to feed him in the middle of the night. I've seen him put his weight on his hands and lean forward so his torso is on our bed surface and climb out, but only when we don't get him out right away, today for his nap, my DH looks and sees him standing up on our bed. He climbed up on our bed to find me when he woke from his nap, but I wasn't there. I might have to move his crib away from the bed. Fortunately, he knows how to get off our bed, but that doesn't stop him from playing on the bed and forgetting where the edge is and sitting down where there is no bed.

I find them scary. Back a few years ago, I took up running as a hobby. I would go down he road to a nice park with a lake and walk/jog around it. I did that until deer mating season. I got in a stand-off with a buck. I tried backing off, but he followed. I stood my ground and he started shaking his rack at me. He didn't back down until I picked up a large stick and started hitting trees with it and yelling.

I got a gym membership after that.
