Misty calls him Spider baby because he got out of his last enclosure. He hasn't figured out how to get out of this "baby jail" system yet. I let him out a good deal, but when I can't watch him, in the containment he goes. Oh, he has figured out how to get out of his crib. I have it pushed up against my side of the bed so I can pick him up to feed him in the middle of the night. I've seen him put his weight on his hands and lean forward so his torso is on our bed surface and climb out, but only when we don't get him out right away, today for his nap, my DH looks and sees him standing up on our bed. He climbed up on our bed to find me when he woke from his nap, but I wasn't there. I might have to move his crib away from the bed. Fortunately, he knows how to get off our bed, but that doesn't stop him from playing on the bed and forgetting where the edge is and sitting down where there is no bed.
I find them scary. Back a few years ago, I took up running as a hobby. I would go down he road to a nice park with a lake and walk/jog around it. I did that until deer mating season. I got in a stand-off with a buck. I tried backing off, but he followed. I stood my ground and he started shaking his rack at me. He didn't back down until I picked up a large stick and started hitting trees with it and yelling.
I got a gym membership after that.
