Official Squatch Watchers

Hi guys! I'm freezing at the park.View attachment 1191820
You're in TX? I need to know what is considered 'freezing' down there. Not judging, but I think it's funny to hear the differences. It was 26 degrees here this morning, mid 40's high, but by Feb people will be wearing shorts w/ sweatshirts and flipflops.

Couldn't get anything at all for the Christmas break. They were already into scheduling feb/march and one of hers suddenly decided to start grazing a nerve so they are coming out.
Actually when we went for the consult he said in his opinion it's the best time of year to have it done because a lot of thanksgiving food is soft. Which is true.

Oh and lol. -just finished giving my son a haircut. He just kept saying "Don't touch the beard mom. Don't touch the beard!"
At least she'll have a couple days off after w/o worrying about rushing back to school or missing stuff (I assume she's school age).

Complaint box: approximately 13 years ago while shopping with my mother in law, I made the statement how pretty the Lenox Winter Greetings china was. Initially I was excited when she gave me a few pieces, I had never had china. Then I kept getting pieces, the enthusiasm started to decline. The pieces are “Winter” not year round china! Fast forward 13 years. I just got 2 boxes of cardinal ornaments and last week I got a leather cardinal purse  Lady, I have cardinal everything running out my arse! I enjoy looking at birds, but good grief woman!!!

I sent her pictures and names of a year round china I was going to start collecting. HINT HINT! Didn’t work. Sigh. More freakin cardinal crap keeps showing up. How about some chicken stuff?!?!?!
When I was a teen I loved elephants. People always bought me ceramic elephant figurines. Occasionally my mom will still get me something w/ an elephant on it. Last xmas she got me a watch w/ an elephant. Never wore it once. I don't wear watches.

Good evening my friends....and Smuv too :lau. So DH and I finally did the Col Potter M*A*S*H fig Newtons dipped in scotch test. And here is what I discovered.....Scotch is disgusting, it tastes like feet and stale Fritos. I love fig Newtons. ..but when you dip them in Scotch.....they taste like (you guessed it) feet and stale Fritos.
Fig Newtons remind me of my gma. She had those clear cookie jars that had the button on top that you pressed to get the lid off. She always had fig newtons, chocolate chip, & oreo cookies. Even my kids remember them.

This is so me!!! It popped up from Fluffy Layers.

Same. lol

I am a medical professional. And we talk smack. :)

I could tell such stories. But I can't here, alas....
Well, you can, but we'd get 'cleaned'.

If you get cleaned, do you get banned or something?

No difference in saying let's cut her nips off :hmm
There is a big difference. We had a dog (dachshund) who we couldn't housebreak until after we got him "fixed". Also, any chance he got he ran away to find dogs of the female variety. If he kept doing that, he would have eventually been run over because we lived on a busy road. There was also other behavior we couldn't stop (humping everyone).

If you aren't going to breed them, it is better all around.

My kids " You are STILL reading about chicken stuff?"
Yep, sure am. I have to try to keep a straight face sometimes.
Me typing away on my phone.
DH watching one of his boring tv shows, sees me typing, pauses tv.
DH: "I'll wait."
Me: "No go ahead, turn it on, I'm listening to it."
DH: "No, I'll wait until you can WATCH."
------------------------

My 20 yr old DD :

"Mom! What are you doing?"

Me:"Oh, just reading about chickens."

DD: "Then why are you TYPING?"

Me:"Oh, just TYPING about chickens."

DH: "Seriously mom, you KNOW it's not SAFE to talk to STRANGERS on the Internet,
right?"

*honestly, THIS makes me feel like I did my job as a parent. Lol

Then I say I'm going to the bathroom lol. And sit on the counter in there.

Knob jiggles. Loud knock.

DD: "Mom, you've been in there a LONG time! Are you okay??!!
Maybe you should see dad's GI doctor."

Also prevents testicular cancer.
