According to the description, it is 40-50 birds (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guineas) that is hatchery choice. I would probably request no waterfowl or bantams.

From the reviews, the hatchery frequently sends 50-60 birds.

Sadly, I've resigned myself to waiting until the Milk Drinker is old enough to take this on as a science project (We are going to homeschool). There are lots of cool things he can learn by trying to identify unknown chicken breeds.

You're not crazy. If I had lots and lots of space I would do that. It would be so much fun to not have any idea what is coming. Go for it!!

Oh now lets not start that again......just because I think my dogs feet smell like Fritos and my pee smelled like smoked ham (found out it was from taking vitamin B12) and I'm craving grapefruit juice doesn't mean anything except that I'm a bit strange
