I can give you the instructions for the whole thing, and you can get creative with different materials and trim... and have fun. You could even sell them if you wanted, it wouldn't bother me one bit.

For those of you that has raised meat birds is the chicken more tender than layers?

age is determining factor.. 12 wk heritage is a fryer... CX is usually before then so they are very tender... I process heritage 16-26 wks, but I roast or moist cook them

So not all breeds are good for eating no matter the feed you give them

All breeds can be eaten. Some are just meatier and more tender.

My hamburgs were so tough that the dogs ended up with them. They were nearly all dark meat. Of course mine were at least 5 years old.

I figured out what happened rooster was a year old and we cooked him in a sauce when he should have been simmering for hours

Maybe try a fry pan bargain.......it will be 90% males and process them by 18 weeks of age.

Even crock potting the of birds did not help mine.
Next I will try the pressure cooker.
