GASP!!! I forgot!!! I FINALLY got a real egg from Jackie. IDK if it was a problem or she was having trouble operating their feeder, but I got a solid egg from her. I got 9 that day. The photo is disappointing.. it's overly orange for some stupid reason. Anyway... here they are! (excuse my fancy table cloth, it goes w/ my fancy plate.)

The kind of light egg towards the top was from Jackie. So now all my brown layers are laying. I'm just missing an egg from my poor molting egger and my sebright bantam.

The name Deila was just so cool though .(it means "stubborn" in Icelandic, apparently. How apt!) I changed my brahma's name from Guinnevere, lol, partially because I couldn't remember her name.

Now, I can never forget it! :duc

As for Valentines—You know her best. Like most of the ladies here I’d be thinking of all the things $70 jammies could have bought. Women in general put themselves last. I wear my old jammie pants with holes in cause the money could go towards something else.
She sounds like a busy lady. Something to make her life easier might be nice. Does she spend a lot of time in her car but doesn’t have the time to clean it? Then getting it detailed could be nice. If she needs a nice bag for her laptop for school that she could then use for business get her that. Or a nice skirt to go dancing in. My point—something she wouldn’t do for herself.

Sprung the news on hubs that i want to extend the coop and hatch out four or fourteenish more chickens and he took it as well as any super drunk fella could. Soo I'm thinking two from Lulu, Tucks and Hobo "when the molt is over " so four more faverolles and two favernickers. Fingers crossed no more roosters, planning on the end of March so i can have Easter chicks.:)
