Ordered roots and seeds for more stuff to plant. Something is gonna grow this year I swear on DHs grave!!! (cause Imma kill him if he doesn't help )

I saw a hen eat a toad one day!

A smallISH mouse got itself caught in one of our feed buckets. Got DH to take it outside to give to the chickens in the run. His silly arse kind of tossed the mouse to the opposite side of the run TO GIVE IT A FIGHTING CHANCE against the chickens. I almost pecked HIM for doing that silly crap.

Hobo is my only killer, now if she gets something down the others will gang up but she's the only one that actively hunts like that. She's my smallest hen but i worry the least about her. When i got her i fretted terribly, that lasted until i saw her eating squirrels. I'm jazzed about hatching her chicks, she's scrappy.

My chickens LOVE to hunt mice and voles. They catch and eat them all the time.

Not just them Sammy. I have run across a ton of our age workers that are just as bad.
I totally burned out in my job largely because of the perpetual training of people who just didn't give a tater.

Just trying to get back in the swing of things. February slows me down. I’ve been going to bed early...turning on the olympics, then falling asleep because of the commercials.
So many commercials!

It was crazy warm here today and I made a point to take advantage of it and get outside.
The sun felt good.

It was over 80* today
