Official Squatch Watchers

:eek:Wow. They are beautiful!!!!

Golden Campine was my first thought.

Oh dear....

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.... Looks like we're going to have a very loud flock! Not that I mind :p

I'll share some chick pics as soon as I get some.
Ruby I like they way they talk to me though...

PBM, any pips yet? :pop

Good morning, all! :caf

No pips or rock n rolling yet. I'm dying here!! It's Day 19!

I'm afraid to go out to the coops. It's snowing here (crazy) and there was a ruckus going on that woke me up...I hope I don't find any mangled little chickie bodies when I go out there!

:fl for no problems!

Good morning.

I was up WAY too late last night with trying to get the milk drinker to bed.

:mad::mad::mad:Curse you Daylight Savings! :mad::mad::mad:

Still only 5 chicks flocking together. It's been almost 48 hours since I recall seeing the missing one. If she were a hen, I wouldn't be as worried, but usually the chicks stick close to their hatch mates until much later than 11-12 weeks.

:hugsis there a chance she roosted elsewhere and may return? Gosh I am sorry. :hugs

Saw this and :th

It houses how many?!?! :th

Um no.
I saw one like that and thought it'd be perfect for Odin to have his own space in the summer and give my girls more space, but I'm not about to spend $300 on it.

:smackIn the low 30’s here if I’m lucky. Expecting more snow the rest of the week. :tongue
How much did you get last night. I was surprised we actually got the lower end of what was predicted, AND I was able to easily brush it off the car.

Doing great . I’m curious is it normal for them to be different colors when they all have the same parents?
There's a 'calculator' to determine what offspring would look like. https://www.breedbook.org/?action=geneticscalculator&tab=CHICKEN
There may be others if that one doesn't have the breeds you need just google chicken breed calculator.
I was told that if I bred my bboe and sebright I would have anything from looking exactly like one of their parents down to a pure black bird.

That's terrible. Hopefully whatever got it will keep moving on and not get any of the others.
