It seems after reading about Lemon Cuckoo Orps they are gentle and good birds? I don’t know anything about Orps. It seems this one may be a giant at 7-8 pounds. That is unexpected!!

My orps are very large at 8+ pounds each and as tall as the Brahma. They are extremely docile birds.

I had one adult that went broody at the same time as my smallest bantam. They decided on the same nest. That ORP was convinced she hatched that Cochin. She was a dedicated defender of the Cochin the rest of her days.

I really cannot imagine not having them in my flock.

They sound sweet. I am not mentally prepared for a large bird. Hopefully I will have enough room to make it work. I have some tweeking I can do if necessary.
