Official Squatch Watchers

Okie dokie, coffee and hot water are going, and there's juice in the fridge. The slow cookers are going, one with preaches and cream oatmeal, one with sausage gravy. Biscuits are in the oven staying warm, and yes, the oven is off. There is also gluten free, dairy free French toast, made with cashew coconut milk. Butter and margarine are on the counter, syrup and other goodies are in the usual places.

Enjoy your morning, and I'll see y'all later today. :frow :hugs:hugs:hugs
Yum, biscuits and gravy! Gotta love that! Good morning. Snow on the ground again!:barnie

Poor DH Just went out to check for eggs and found his favorite girl Maggie (13 months old) dead on her back in the coop.
She was just in the nest box an hour or so ago and as always, was first out of the house and into the run this morning.
What the heck happened??!!
I’m considering doing a homestyle necropsy this afternoon.

DH is outside crying at the moment. Picking out a burial spot.

Thoughts?

Oh my Stacey...I am so sorry.
Did you know if she actually laid an egg?

She is the correct age for fatty liver disease. Look for a fat ruptured liver.

It's hard ,but open her up and look for heart or liver issues

That’s exactly what I’m thinking and fearful of.

DD is here for a while before going to work this afternoon.

Waiting for her to leave.

Lots of resistance to the idea of “cutting Maggie OPEN?!?”
From DD AND DH.
