I know I still have more hens than I need but would like them all to stay living.

My big group are running the yard. I like having nesting crows in the neighbors tree. It means the hawks are staying away and my gals can be out more.

Glad your gals are getting to enjoy the great outdoors. Go team crow!

Really neat story about crows.

I do laugh a little about the crows. My neighbor 2 doors down has a crow call. I know he is seeing hawks around when I hear him calling the crows.

Awesome neighbor!! He does it for all of the chicken owners in the hood.

Is the crow call something he does like bird calls ...or a thing like a duck calling thingy?

Its his turkey call turned upside down and a lot of practice. He is really good at it.
He gets 20+ to come in pretty regularly.
