You guys, I lost one of my LF White Cornish chicks

I only had 2.

It was the one I was thinking was a cockerel. I have a hanging feeder in the coop that clears the bedding by about an inch or so. Somehow, the bird got stuck under the hanging feeder and died. I think we need to move it up so it is at least an 3-4 inches off the bedding.

I got the one from the megastore, I looked into the overflow pans but they were all off in one dimension.

Or a washing machine overflow pan from homedepot or lowes?

Lulu is broody again, she spent all night on the nest, I let them out this morning and she was in front of the nest but still in nesting position. She got up ate and drank then right back into the nest. I knew something was up, I caught her in the box with Tucks rolling eggs underneath her sister and growling at her while she rolled. It was almost like she was threatning her, "brood these eggs or else!"

I don’t know how helpful i am! Just wanted to find the culprit so she can solve her predator problem and keep it from happening again.
