Official Squatch Watchers

@apryl29 Turkeys pull each other's snoods as well as chest butt like chickens, but unlike chickens when one submits the dominant birds won't relent until there's been an ample pulling of the snood. The birds playing ring around the rosy, who ever is in front has submitted but not yet been given the required snood pull and the other two are chasing to carry out the mission. Any number of things can start the game at any given moment.
I have not yet seen that behavior, but there is a lot of strutting and fluffing! I know for sure there are at least 5 Jakes out of 8.

That’s my husband but he refuses a CPap.
Too concerned with how he’d “look “.
I said who cares?!? I love white noise and I’ve been running on low for the past five years or so, staying half awake all night to I can nudge him back so life when he quits breathing.
Eta: plus I can’t even have a conversation with him in the evening because he’s so exhausted he can’t stay awake.
Tell him that is very hard on his heart and will make him feel tired. Kick his butt all the way to the doctor if you have to.

But they are so much fun to watch! And quite calm compared to other barnyard birds. I never knew how nice they are until i got some!

Y’all are making me miss my turkey I hatched a loner a few years ago, kept her for about 8 months, but never could find her a mate, so I sold her. Blue Slate. Gorgeous girl and so sweet!
I tried hatching some royal palms this year but the post office ruined both shipments, and I never could get local eggs. I will have some royal palms next year!
