Wow, Cookie got the mothering gene. I just watched that nut butt drop a grasshopper into the chick pen. Question is how full are my chicks? I took an hour nap.

His dad is chick crazy so I was hoping one of them would get that trait too. Early, bless his heart isn't chick freindly. He tried to eat those last two boys on a regular basis.

Well I was dead on about Tucks, haven't seen her since this morning opened the main coop and heard that funky broody clucking. I had to go in with Early to open the main door and boy stopped at just one bite, used the rest of his time for tidbitting "i'm so proud" lol! And Cookie must have been bringing those littles bugs for quite a while. I brought them in due to a thunderstorm and they are painfully full, like DD uniboob full. That pleases me to no end, one more protector and provider is always welcome.

Anybody else got molting going on? There is a huge pile of feathers under the porch and nobody is missing, nobody looks balder either.

I seem to constantly have growing youngsters so there are always feathers all over the place.

Hmmm, the feathers were peachy colored so that narrowed it down but still nobody has any new bald spots i'm just stumped. I didn't hear any fighting, that many feathers surely i'd have heard something? They were in a dustbathing hole so molting is all I can figure but still where are the dang bald spots? I stay confused with these birds.
