Many years ago I took in an 11 year old dog. She had terrible seizures and was very fat. Poor old girl had been hit by a car as a pup and never treated. I got her on a good diet and her weight dropped. The seizures lessened until she was actually seizure free. She made it to 19 and had 4 years without a single seizure.
When they are ready to go it is clear.

I know you will do what you can for the doggie.

A thought so he isn't crated all the time..... Can you make a pen for him in the yard so he can spend part of the day outside?

I spend much of the day outside, so he won’t be in total confinement. He will be fine. We are far off the road so he can roam around the field and explore with the other old dog. I was just so irritated last night to see he had left two huge puddles! On rugs I can not move alone.

Since I have taken in Maddie, I often wonder how long she will live.

I did errands last nigh and thought of more places today here in town. Nothing to report except all doggies slept great.

Starting Wednesday we're supposed to get frost lows between 28 and 30 with highs in the 40s for the rest of the forecast. Moisture must be coming in from the southwest as we're clear every day but Tuesday, which is supposed to be a high of 67. Last year for Christmas dinner I cooked it on the deck wearing shorts and a T-shirt.

It came in this mysterious black bag that said "For Deliver To:" and my name/addy. A mystery egg-pooping rubber chicken from Thailand! I can't even stand it....too funny....:lau

Oddly enough, my lanyard with the coop keys on it broke last night, and I was just saying to hubby I needed a new lanyard. But this is far, far better!

(For Deliver To. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....I just can't!)
