I planted 3 more holly bushes today and carted off 2 more wagons of poo. Dragged a cage out of the barn, it needs longer legs. Too hard to clean under there.

It is going really well! There have been a few little pecks by the older ones, and the rooster play fights Ethel but no baby eating is going on. It looks like they'll just blend right in.

Tell me about it! Iv'e been putting these out in the tractor since they were about a week old weather permitting so the oldies didn't even flinch. Pain in the rear some days but totally worth it.

Well, one more tractor is armored. one more to do... Doors reinforced and remounted so only have to string the hotwire and the big kids in the brooder get to come outside on freshly mowed grass.

Chicky your birds are gorgeous.... Glad it went well.

The looks would be priceless though if you had to keep saying "Don't eat the baby!" .



We have a long list here of things one should NEVER have to say but are said often.

Stop biting his head.
Don't lick the wall.
Get your nose out of her butt.

You know..... Stuff that if people HEAR you say they back away slowly.

I do have to say no baby eating at least a few times a day. Iv'e had to since Beavis.

The looks would be priceless though if you had to keep saying "Don't eat the baby!" .
