Whew!!!! Back from the vet.
They got her in earlier due to a cancellation.

Blood drawn, ultrasound of uterus, x-ray of tummy.....
Results of bloodwork tomorrow, uterus ok, pea gravel in colon but just like ten pieces.

False pregnancy confirmed.
:barnie:th:barnie

Anti nausea meds and bland diet for the next week.

Oh and -$321. :th:th

I have to get hamburger and rice since I have none so will do that at 5:30 when other humans are home.

False pregnancy, eh? Wow. Are you going to spay her? I'm glad the xray was OK. I want to know what the bloodwork says.

Playing devil's advocate here~ you got off cheap! Last time Bucco (my dumb pit) had a 48 hour bout of vomiting, it cost me 500 bucks for the same workup (unfortunately the practice owner who would have cut me a sweet discount was not on, but his associate).

Give her doggie kisses for me! I'm glad she is OK! :love

That was probably a stock photo....it was in one of my veterinary digests I get, so suspect it's real...
You never know these days!

A chicken is a chicken to most people which explains a stock picture. The black chickens must look more evil to people? I think they look nice!

That is so true! I had company this weekend and you would not believe the stupid chicken questions people were asking me, lol! ("Is a boy chicken still called a chicken?" Ummm, yeah.)

I think those black chickens are so badass looking. I love my Cemanis. They are like pitbulls, even though they look mean they can be very gentle and loving! :love

Oh that 321 bucks is just a drop in the bucket of what it could have been.

Yes she WILL be spayed. Timing of her first heat threw me. She went into heat in early June and out at the last week of June. I had planned to spay her in early July but that dang early heat!!
Then not wanting to be charged double price for an in heat spay decided on late August.....well Delilah got scheduled for mid August so Sabe got postponed......then the off the feed and puke....

I’m all in for $321 so much better than pancreatitis!

It’s nice to know you love us like you do!
