Did you work at one?

The store in Davis, California closed down about a year and a half ago.
I worked for tjoes in AZ and for WFM in VA.
A world of difference between the two. Loved tjoes. My youngest daughter works at a Trader Joe’s here and wears my old T-shirts which are now considered “vintage“ and sought after. She is affectionately called an “O. G. kid” as a second generation employee or the child of an ORIGINAL GANGTA. If your parent worked there it is very easy to get hired.

Editing to add : that even though she got hired as my kid,
she works her tater off and at just five feet tall she out performs all the guys she works with by a mile. They evaluate every six months and she’s never missed a raise yet. Most of the group she got hired with are either still at their starting wage or washed out.
She makes me proud.
All my kids have a great work ethic.

I would have left that in the hands of scrubbing bubbles. I know it is a crappy, nasty, chemical but scubbing all that would kill me for a week later. I salute you! But think how nice it will be all clean.:)
Scrubbing and a razor blade. So taterin gross! And I’m a cleaning lady. I’ve used a shovel to clean up the floor of a men’s room— and I found this gross. The flower stickies are long gone, replaced with strips of some sort. Needed to scrape those off. Pulled of some coving between the tile and tub and it was foul too.

Oh I used Zep soap scum remover. Let it soak a little then scraped. It was so thick. I kept reminding myself it was a little old lady and her older daughter trying to take care of her.

Don't blame you one bit! I know the pain though the tub here was similar, except I have a whole bathroom of yellow not pink. I never was nosy enough to look at the tub but in their old age cleaning it had taken a back seat....way back.:)

One of the reasons I want to get rid of the shower doors too. They make cleaning so much harder. Pretty sure the track is permanently embedded in my stomach.

Lol! Does your belly look like a train track? :lau I had to keep my doors, there is a window on the wall where the tub is and the shower doors contain some of the summer heat. Dumbest place ever for a window.
