Made that trip back and forth more times than I care to remember....for 19 years...!

I can't do Cedar Point any more! (or Great Adventure, which is here.) Since I had my spinal fusion surgery for herniated disks in 2011, I can't do rollercoasters, headstands, anything like that any more. Sucks getting old!

I’m well stocked I think.
Only thing I’m regretting is that we are NOT boarded up.

It doesn’t matter now because plywood is in short supply, but I’ve been strongly divided on this with DH since this storm was confirmed as a problem for us.
His work has been grueling the past week -I get that.
And he’ll have to hit the ground running as soon as the storm passes because of his field.
I totally get that he felt that he couldn’t/didn’t want to do it but I wanted to hire someone to come do it fast and do it right. When I gave DH a ballpark figure his eyes bugged out just like our emoji here.
What can I say. He’s cheap.

Stace, where you at in NC? Is there a mandatory evac?

My husband's niece lives in Southport NC and her family had to evacuate to Boone NC by TN today. They ran out of plywood there to board up windows.

Stopped watching the news some time ago, but we did start wtching the Weather Channel. Hoping you guys stay safe!!!

My older dog has developed a hygroma on his elbow.
It has surface scrapes (does not look like deep wounds).
What to use on it????

Corona for horses?
Good ole Neosporin?

I have gauze and vet wrap to make some cushion for it.

Hey babe~

gauze and vet wrap; a little neosporin or triple ABT if it looks oozy.

Bitter Apple spray if he's licking. That's really it. Soft cushioned surfaces to lie on (like a couch, bed, egg crate padding).

ETA: Corona? You may have one for you, if you are stressed out. But don't be. It's just a big fluid ball, they're pretty benign. XO

The corona is a horse med that is also ok for other critters.

Mostly lanolin usp 30%.
