I have been working on the coop again. 3 nest boxes on, and two shutters as well. I also painted a sheet of plywood, and put up the last panel of run #2. And i put the frame around the small window.

Can hardly wait to finish!

Question for those who know better than I...
My run looks like it's getting a bit moldy, dark green patches on top of a generous layer of mud. I want to toss something in there, but I don't want to end up just covering the mold w/ something that won't integrate. So would I be better off tossing some straw in there, or pine shavings? I don't want to over do it, but something needs to be done.
Shavings

I've decided that being an adult is like a real life version of A Series of Unfortunate Events. On my way to Tractor Supply this evening I turned and my transmission died. Luckily my aunt had AAA and was able to get my car towed to my parents house for free. My dad needs to look at it but at this point it looks like the transmission is shot and we need to decide what to do next. Adulting sucks. This is not what they described in the brochure at all.

:frow I’m here.
The chickens are in the garage having a sleepover in cooper’s crate. Not going to bother hitting the like buttons because every time I do it it makes the screen refresh and it takes forever.
Hugs to you.
Stay safe storm squatchers!
So relieved to hear from you. Glad you for the kids inside. Photos & videos I'm seeing are unreal.
