Wish I had nice beavers. Iv'e just got a groundhog and a freaky amount of box turtles. Iv'e seen five today of various sizes. Iv'e got tons of rabbits too, they never leave. Squirrels and chipmunks got bunches of those. Got the one beaver who visits but he's huge and I don't want to pet him, he tail slaps at me.
Baby Beaver Update:

Didn't see him. :( I was calling him and making the mewling baby beaver noises, but no luck. Maybe next time!

But we did see a gigantic snapping turtle where we took out the canoe at the park, who people were feeding Cheetos to. It was cool.

You know I'll be going back to that beaver place over and over, until the creek freezes up, in hopes I'll see that cute little bugger again

On the subject of laying issues...what the heck is this?!

It doesn't really fully fit a lash egg description since there was a definite egg but....

It is a lash egg.

Yes it can be really bad.

It however looks like you caught it early.
The cause of lash eggs is salpingitis.
It's an infection of the ovaduct.

This link is pretty good.

It is treatable at least.
