@apryl29 I asked him for a list of what he wants and I'll get things ready. I don't know where he thinks he's putting anything larger. Mostly I think he wants to take things because he thinks it will bother me. There are very few items that belong to "us" that I want to hang on to. I'm keeping "the kids" and some other stuff I brought into the relationship.
LOL I like Ruby's idea about the glitter... Toss an open bottle of glitter in the boxes (bags) of stuff, esp if it's clothes. LOL Good idea about the list. My ex gave me a specific list of stuff he wanted. Candles. He wanted candles... Didn't want to see his kids or any photos of them or anything, but he NEEDED those candles. smh.

He wants the tv and it's stand. I said ok and he started to argue then realized I said ok. He didn't know what to do. He wants to pick a fight just to pick a fight. I guess I'll see how it goes on Saturday.

Oh he's done! I really think he thought he would call and I would be there to pick up the pieces. 12 years is a long time and I'm sure I'll always care for him in some way. But I've set up boundaries for this new version of a relationship we have. He wanted to come pick stuff up from the house while I'm at work. I flat out said no. The stuff isn't going anywhere so he can wait till the weekend when I'm home. It's my house now. I plan on moving yes but he doesn't live here any more. Things will be done on my terms now.
You go girl!

I had a first cousin that got stubborn about taking a poodle he bought. Same as in your case not the baby or anything else. Just the dog. One never knows what someone will get fixated on. In his case I believe it was better for his wife, here's the dog now bye.

It's too bad that life's troubles can't be all solved so easily.
