@pitbullmomma , We did a lot of walking, checked out the wine shops, went in all the gift shops, and to a little “crafty fall festival”...
And at this one big gifty store that was highly themed in each room -we’ve been there before...
I saw the owner and said, “Hey! Where is all your awesome chicken stuff?”
And she got this very dazed expression on her face and answered, “ You know, we don’t have any anymore. It all got sold....”
And I couldn’t even bite my tongue!
“Isn’t that the point of owning a store? Like to sell things? ...And re-order things that people like and buy?”
And she burst out laughing,
and put her hands to her cheeks like she’d just had an epiphany and said, “maybe I should order some more? I don’t know, maybe people are chickened out ...”
If she only knew...
