Pat is a Patti for sure.
My buffs looked like that at her age and the are technically considered dual purpose birds. Their legs are
anything BUT dainty. When she hits her full size she’ll be heavy when you pick her up!
She may not even hit point of lay now til spring.
She’ll be as beautiful as a plus size model. You’ll see!

I fell through a cane back chair bottom. I sat down and it gave up.:lau

Yes indeedy! All the dual purpose ladies here are thick legged Marlene just happens to be the thickest. Are SS and dominiques dual purpose? I know faverolles and delawares are but doms and SS got toothpick legs. Brahma has tree trunks already though, she is as tall as the big girls now too. Pat has some company in the big boned club.:)

Yes SS and Doms are in the dual purpose group.

Ya'll been busy! I skipped over a lot to get here.

I am going to be quite busy the next couple weeks at least.
I sold a quilt that isn't even finished. :th

It's a sister quilt with the same fabrics as the quilt I made for hubby. Different lay out so different pattern needed when quilting.

I will try and keep up but no guarantees. :p

Woohoo!!!! Congrats on the sale!!!! Your quilts are beautiful.

THanks! They are fun to make. I am digging the bright colored fabrics out there.
I love fun colors!!! I don't sew much but I made a baby quilt for my friend last year. It was SUPER bright and loud and colorful. She loved it cause she said pastels are very popular right now in baby stuff and she hadn't been able to find anything fun and bright.

I have enough boys to send to every squatcher !! I don’t need no more!!
Now I gotta go back and see if I predicted cockerel before. Lol. I’m pretty horrible at that game anyway.
You could send one to me, plucked processed and vacuum sealed!

It was a few weeks ago.
Around Sept 20th. This is one of the pictures.

The comb and wattles look like a hen. The feathering is confusing. At 19 weeks old and not crowing I would say hen too. You should know one way or the other soon though.

Hope for an egg!
