Phooey......I'm still gonna snuggle and kiss my chickens. Besides ....a good case of Salmonella might get me to my goal weight.

Currently 34° here. Though "feels like" 29° seems more accurate. It has been such strange weather. Yesterday no sooner had I got that post up about the snowballs it was sunny again. Cold but slightly sunny. Wind has been bone cutting.
I'll take cold with no snow.

FWIW, my boys aren't crowing yet either and Steve was 19 weeks before he crowed for the first time.. but the larger of my 2 lavs is starting to mate w/ some the girls. I saw him get either Nibbler or Klaus the other day. She didn't seem too happy about it.

Good morning jeeze it is cold! I actually got the space heater out. Hubs is doing his best to send me on a butt kicking spree. He fixed the blazer, new windsheild it cost 230 dollars and then bought the dump truck on top of that! Cherry on top he's starting that " don't you want a puppy?" jazz again! I can assure you all at this point and time I do not want a puppy! I don't want any baby animals right now, i'm babied out! And a puppy? A going to get big and not a breed i'm big on "german shepard" puppy, no thanks. Like I don't have enough noise, destruction and dookie to deal with already.
