"Noah's are of turds"... how colorful. lol I'm w you on the poop front.. The less poop, the better.
I'll get better pics tonight, they look totally different. The comb difference on my girl to Pat make me really think Pat is a boy. With Steve I honestly though he was girl, even after other people told me he was a boy and def had saddle feathers.
That's the worst part of fall. Stupid leaves hiding animal poop. At least in the summer I could see where the dog poop was and avoid it. Now it's like they're hidden land mines.
Yes I found one the gross way.
Lol! See you KNOW what i'm talking about! I'm not anti dog but right now i'm blissfully dog turd free. I'd have to pick up the poop, couldn't have chickens eating poops. It is about to be winter and I just don't see me freezing, going on the worst treasure hunt ever. Plus I don't want to do all that don't eat the chickens and cat stuff. The fence isn't up to snuff for a dog either and it would have to be super secure for a shepard. Going to sound awful and I aplogise in advance to anybody who has one but I just don't like german shepards. I don't trust them, they seem much too driven for my personal comfort.![]()
Not every breed fits everyone. I get it. There are some breeds that just aren't right for me.
A dog really needs to fit into the existing structure. Many just don't.
I have met some really sweet Shepherds, and some terrifying ones too.
I love my Pitty breeds/mixes of but again the individual dog has to fit.
Dogs aren't a must have here either, iv'e had a few but only one really good one. To have another one i'd have to really just "going to sound hippy dippy here" connect with it. I don't know, I can just tell if any animal is going to be a fit or not. I'm not going to fight tooth and nail just to have something, it just has to sort of fold in.![]()
Not hippy dippy at all. IMHO if a dog doesn't fit it becomes a struggle. That's not how it's supposed to be.
Delilah drives me a bit batty. She is not a good fit for me. She IS a good fit for my son. She is his dog so it's ok.
Just not one I would have chosen. I don't think he would have chosen her either really. He didn't get a choice in the litter as he was bottom of the list.
Sable.....I knew she would fit just from her photo. Not sure how I knew but I knew.
By the way......I think if someone is forced into dog ownership it inevitably goes badly.
Goal weight... lol.
