I love this story! Not that you got lost, but I hope its a fun memory now.

My internal gps is usually pretty good too. Except getting getting turned around in a mall in Detroit.

Oh, and Greensboro, NC always got me bumfuzzled driving around.
Honestly all of my experiences living in Tucson were ADVENTURES!
I wish we’d been there longer. 2 years wasn’t long enough. I’d go back there again. There was so much I didn’t have a chance to do and see.
And speaking of SEE... my eyes could not get enough of the place.
The Southwest was awesome in this eastcoasters opinion.

I went to visit my mother once during the 2 years she was in Phoenix. The area is absolutely stunning.

:oops:Have you been spying on me?
I feel bad when they all the people posted outside the store. The bell ringer at Christmas is one thing. But I swear I can't go to the store without a girl scout group selling cookies or a veteran of some sort asking for donations.
Don't get me wrong I'd love to donate. But I can't afford to do it 3x a week for 25 weeks a year.

I don't like the bell ringers, my ears work really good since my sight is crap. Bell ringers are torture. Sometimes i'll buy cookies if I can but I give them away, same with those nut logs the shriners sell. I can't do them all either though.

Same. I'm dealing daffin's candy bars at the moment to send my kid to Niagara falls. I just toss a box in the staff room at work and if people want one, fine, if not fine as well. Once I went to the store and this poor lady was standing there w 2 $2 packs of twizzlers. I bought them so she could go home even though my kid had been selling the same candy. We gave up after 1 box. $2 for a candy bar is too much and ridiculous. One year it was $1.25 a bar.. How stupid is that?
We've done bake sales and stuff, but it seems this time of year they have kids selling everything. No one's got any extra $$ w the holidays coming up. Our school sells Malley's chocolate for easter, but for some stupid reason they only give it to the elem kids... Just b/c my kids are older doesn't mean I don't want to buy chocolate for easter... and I'm not about to interact w someone else to do it.
