Ok I’m thinking of a soft splint made of two new sponges with her leg sandwiched between them. Inner leg shorter, outer leg longer.
Both long enough at the bottom to create a “foot” which would make the chicken be able to use it as a “stump” without having to bear weight on her actual foot.
Are you following?
*with the wound inside wrapped in gauze.
The whole thing wrapped on the outside with vetwrap.
I like the idea of a figure 8 gently pulling the leg into position from the other side.

This time of year we get all of the storefront sales AND an odd increase in panhandlers.

Blah blah blah stranded
Blah blah blah will work for whatevers
Etc etc etc.
Mostly standing within 50 yards of 10 places with now hiring signs.

Over half have a dog or cat with them.

I know I sound harsh BUT I see the same ones week after week after week.

Then there's the brave ones that come up on you while you're putting things in your trunk.
They scare the bajesus out of me.
First with the startle then with not knowing if I am about to go missing.

I don't like the bell ringers, my ears work really good since my sight is crap. Bell ringers are torture. Sometimes i'll buy cookies if I can but I give them away, same with those nut logs the shriners sell. I can't do them all either though.
I keep 2 stripper ones in my sportsbra almost everyday. Don’t want your candy, your popcorn, your pencil, or your flower.
Don’t talk to me. I’m writing in my head.
Here’s a dollar. Sorry it’s a little sweaty.

Rarely give to them. It’s like a racket here and they are on every corner and stoplight. They are only aloud to stand there so long so they take turns.
Dogs are the new accessory.
Poor dogs.
Beware the ones outside of grocery stores.
They get you talking and convince you to buy them a bag of dog food.
Then after you give it to them and leave they go inside and ask for a refund.
Dog food is expensive.

Happened at Whole Foods several times a day by the same people. Finally WF’s them told them to move on.

Great idea but, I don't wear a bra, too small to ever reach my waist.. Things get worse at Christmas Bell ringers at every store. Sometimes at both doors if they have two. I usually ignore them till right before Christmas and then give a big contribution to the ringer that irritated me less.

We usually have one beautiful person collecting at Walmart, and he doesn't ask, he sings holiday songs and has a great voice. Plus he blesses everyone whether they donate or not. This guy is great!! People even bring him coffee to warm up (Baby, it gets really cold out here!!)

On goodness there’s a guy here like that! Older black gentleman with the MOST gorgeous voice. He knows all the words to all the verses too! I stopped and sang with him a few times last year.
He was a real Delight.
Called me sister and gave me a BIG HUG.
