My girls went trick or treating last night.
The younger one was a vampire victim w/ pale make up, neck bites and fake blood.
But I want to show you my older kid's make up b/c it turned out pretty great. Unfortunately I didn't get any close up photos.

She's Tate Langdon from American Horror Story. That took me 1 1/2 hrs to do. I didn't get the neck done b/c I didn't have enough time.
Both my kids were asked if they were adults. Granted, they're both giants.. but what does it matter? They were both dressed up and were polite (I've been beating into their heads to say Trick or Treat and Thank you for many years).
This was likely the last year either of them is going to go trick or treating though.

Wow, what a great makeup job!! :love AHS. You did fantastic...! :clap

So what if they're older. Halloween is such fun... If I had grandkids I'd dress up right along side of them!

Hey everyone,

I've been gone for over a week. I've come to the conclusion that my morning sickness (just extreme stomach cramps not puking) is just worse this time around. I thought it was a combo of being sick/pregnant, but it isn't going away. Ugh, thank goodness for sparkling water and homeopathy. They both help take the edge off and let me work.

Oh and we are getting two wee piggies on Saturday/Sunday. I still need to put the hog panel fence together and build a hut we can use to close them in at night to keep them safe from the coyotes.
We miss you Rae.
I hope it starts to pass soon.

Maybe you could host a Halloween party for their friends next year.

Good Morning Squatch land!!

Getting ready to go on a candy hunt!
Lots of peanut butter cups is on the list.
Maybe some sweetarts would be good too.......

No I don't really eat much candy. Hubby does though.....

I have to be out and about anyway.......ran out of chicken treats yesterday. They are gonna be mad this morning!
Some folks give them skittles!

Ooo I'll check that out. I saw something about the Chattanooga zoo having penguins, but it's farther away that I want to go.

Nice costume!

That happened to me. I haven't done anything about it, but last fall several of my birds were sneezing. Nothing seemed to help. Then this fall Olive has been sneezing again. I haven't done anything. It seems intermittent & she doesn't appear to have any other problems.

I just realized your pumpkin avatar was carved by you. Great job! You're creativity is awesome.

Sound about right.

My opinion of the 'thins' is that they're trying to appeal to the people who are touting the healthy lifestyles. They're going for the everything in moderation angle, so if they have 'thin' reeses they'll be less calories, like oreo thins. The stupid part about this is they have mini reeses already. to have thinner reg size reeses is stupid and pointless.

Wow... I swear A LOT, and even I know not to swear here. You read the room..

I fit in to both. I was born in 81 so I'm an elder millennial (hilarious show if anyone has netflix!) Though I generally don't identify w/ a millennial, except the whole crippling debt and obsessive reliance on technology.

I have been saying potato for a while.. Don't be a potato. My younger child started it, I think. Gives a new meaning to Mr Potato-head.

This made my day. One of my go to insults on twitter is 'Are your parents brother and sister, or first cousins?' I find it hard to believe that there isn't a bit of inbreeding going on w/ some of these people. Maybe high lead levels in their drinking water as a child.

What were you drinking last night before bed?
My chicks always did the same thing. I always wondered if they were trying to make their own mash. Is there any way you can separate their dishes more?
Thanks for the compliment! I was drinking water before bed. And after supper. Most of the day every day. I also drink cold green tea and hot tea. Once in a while i drink beer with pizza or a fuzzy navel to relax with.

@FlyingNunFarm, how is Gladys feeling this morning?
Both girls in the basement seem to be doing well.

Politely shared breakfast this morning. I can tell Cream Puff is still weak. She stands and walks around but is just exhausted.
Gladys hates her hobble. I got the foam to try and make the more sturdy sorta butt pillow kind. I have to figure out how to get it on so she'll keep it on and not eat foam. Her wound looks good too.
Printed the papers I need to send in blood samples so that's on the chicken to do list too.

It's good they are sharing. You can try mixing mackerel in with the eggs. Protein boost and competition may get them eating it.

It looks like standing is a bit easier.

:thumbsup

Boo for the morning sickness, but YAY!!! for the piggies! Boys, girls, or are you going to end up breeding?
Try to remove smell triggers. For some odd reason the smell of vanilla candles/ lotion made me so sick when I was pregnant w/ my oldest. Didn't happen so much w/ the younger one. Both were girls so gender had nothing to do w/ it.

She looks great!

Thanks! I thought about it, but we live in a small apt so we'd have to find somewhere to do it. The older one was supposed to go to a Halloween bonfire w/ a friend, but her dad wanted to take them out for ToT. Next year she'll probably go to her friend's house. The younger one will probably just stay home & we'll get pizza.. unless she wants to go out, or we find a small child for her to kidnap, I mean take out.

Hmm maybe it's just still a weird time for crazy dreams.
I loves me a fuzzy navel, or screwdrivers.

Glad they're doing well. I hope the tests give you some answers.
