How do you sell your eggs? I'm curious how you guys on here who sell yours do that...like at a roadside stand, in a farmer's market, etc.?

I always give mine away cuz I only have like 2-4 dozen spare a week. But I always wondered how those who actually sell their eggs do it.

Mine sell by word of mouth. I sell to friends and hubby's coworkers.
I do trade eggs with a neighbor. No actual $ changes hands but he brings us goodies like cookies and meat from his hunting/fishing trips.

Oh good heavens!
That’s way more than I was anticipating!
How does her crop feel now?

Is poop coming out the other end? And what’s it looking like?
It was still a little gassy. I left her alone after that mess. I think it's coming out the other end. Now that she has a friend with her it's harder to tell. I may try and separate them overnight and see who leaves what.

I used to sell mine from the house. People would show up and blow their horns.

That’s a good idea even if all you do is stick a piece of cardboard between them once they fall asleep.

Start by checking out your state laws. Every state is different. I've started selling to neighborhoods. Setup at someones place and stay for like 15 minutes and then move to the next. I've also got some regular customers that I meet and hand off eggs to. Come spring I'll grow 20 giant/jumbo pekins as I have an order for 10. They get processed at 14 weeks. I'll either have to get their feed shipped in or drive to KY to get it. Can't get what they need here. I'm also trying to develop my chicken and turkey meat markets.

It's a coop! No chickens in it yet but with minimal work they could live in it!

Need corner pieces and fence up. The chicken door needs rigging but it goes up and down.
