Official Squatch Watchers

FB is a good place to rehome roosters, if people don't wait a million years like they did on Apryl. I had that neighbor boy post Duece and Ray on his facebook since I don't have one and they got a home really quick. That guy still sends pictures lol! It has been since June and he still does it. I don't mind, but they are his roosters now and i'm convinced he's doing good. I tried posting them on my Dad's facebook " a 74 year old man had one but I don't" but apparently all the posts from people giving reguards on his passing shooed any potential rooster parents away. No idea why, I was clear I was his daughter and these wern't ghost roosters.:caf

Funny I did have a guy contact me nearly six months later wanting to know if my Dad still had an air compressor for sale. Guess he was realated to Apryl's rooster man. Thing was the air compressor was still here, once guy got here I just gave it to him. His truck was rust holding hands and he had two doughnut spares on it. He needed that thing way more than me. Also sold one of Hub's yard cars to him, pontiac sunfire. Cranked and ran but needed a new radiatior and was three or four colors. Never seen a dude so happy over a 100 car.:caf

My little bantam as naked last fall, but it wasn't this cold and she had feathers by the time it got bad. She seemed fine otherwise. I'd like to see someone trying to dress 100 chickens in sweaters though. lol

I imagine after a few days when their pin feathers start coming it that it'd be kinda painful for them too.

I can check. Do you want anything for them? & I don't know what "Both F1" means.
F1 is first generation. French Black Copper Marans hen with Isbar roo. 20180928_173302.jpg Yes he came from a Marans egg.
The other is Americauna hen with Isbar roo.

They are both good boys. It would be nice if they went to a home not a dinner plate but I can't keep them. Forage well and have good instincts. A little overly amorous right now but they are teenagers.
I've never had a problem with either of them. They even get along with each other.
I tried FB and listed them on the Ohio thread here too.
I'm willing to meet within reason if I need to.

Nunny you're going to get a hernia holding that big ole girl. Still say she's a lady. How flippin old is Pat now 6 or so months?

22 WEEKS! Hatched June 3rd. What's even funnier is it's a giant scaredy cat. I picked her up to bring her in and shut the door it's so cold. She honks like a goose her voice is so deep and then tries to hide her head. Shes as big of not bigger then Taterhead.

Lord Nunny she's a large child lol! It will be another 3 months easy before she thinks about eggs. Think if there was going to be crowing that would have come out by now, at least one or two.:)
