She probably knocked some $$ off the rent that they didn't pay. Yeah, she should at least do a drive by occasionally. Maybe going through the eviction process will encourage her to let it go finally. A friend was renting out her trailer after her family bought a house... the renters STOLE the central air system! Right off the side of the trailer. They made a huge mess too. I don't think I'd ever want to be a landlord after that. She had to sue them, but I don't remember what happened.

My cousin is having family dinner dec 1st, usually there is 6 people, so I gave her one of the 12lb jakes i raised this year. Now she say there will be TWELVE people. That is too many people for me. I told her it would only feed 6 people. So she is getting a gmo fed turkey and serving mine another time. Now I have to figure out how to get out of that dinner LOL.. I already said I could before I knew there was so many people.. she will try to fit them all at the table and we will be elbow to elbow and everyone will have to get up on the east side if someone wants out on that side.
Shooot..i'd play sick and duck out. I know you already said you would but you agreed to something totally different 6 people not 12 sooo technically you never really said you would. Loopholes, my freind.
It will just be us two for Thanksgiving, FL is too far for a quick trip from FL. Our kids have other things to do with vacation days.

It makes for a quiet holiday.
My extended family all live within an hours drive......thing is my extended family is all bat taters crazy. Best to not gather.
Down to 6 for my family. Suits me fine. Everyone used to show up empty handed and want to leave with a doggie bag. Too much work for my mom for a bunch of ungrateful guests.
We will have 7 for T Day dinner
Ran into an old friend at the store. Poor gal was buying everything for a feast for 20+.
She asked when she could finally be done with it all. My advice for her was to make it pot luck style.
Coordinated of course so there aren't 20 pumpkin pies!
She's rather fussy so likely will keep doing the big dinner herself.
